Eating Disorders can affect the lives many, but to know how to help someone, the first step is to know that they might have a problem and to detect the signs. However, most people do not want to admit that they might have an eating disorder because the think there is nothing wrong with their eating habits. There are different types of eating disorders, Bulimia nervosa, which is characterized when a person eats uncontrollably, and after they have eaten, they would purge. Anorexia Nervosa is when a person gets an obsession on what they eat. They usually do not eat enough because they have the fear of gaining weight. Binge eating is really similar to Anorexia Nervosa. People with this disorder tend to eat a lot in short periods of time.
