Rating the Best (and Worst) Outfits of the 2021 Met Gala

Ah, it’s that time of year when all of our favorite celebrities make a statement with their bold fashion choices. This year’s Met Gala theme was ‘American Independence’ and though some understood the assignment, others did not. I’ve decided to compile my favorites and least favorites from the night and will be rating them based on two categories- Adherence to the theme and overall style. Both will be scored out of 10.

Before we begin I must say how disappointed I was that some of the most iconic celebrities did not show, among them are Blake Lively, Zendaya, and Lady Gaga. In addition, there was some controversy. Should influencers be attending the Met Gala? The was also some tension following Nicki Minaj’s tweet saying she wouldn’t attend the Gala due to the required vaccine. We’ll save those topics for a poll on our IG (@titanuniversecsuf), now lets get into the fashion!

Kicking it off with some of the worst, we have this horse girl fit. I don’t think I need to make too many comments on this one…

Theme Rating: 5/10

The only reason she gets that high is because horses do remind me of classic stereotypical America.
