After almost a year of legalized recreational marijuana in California, weed consumption is becoming a part of the California culture. Thanks to mobile apps like Weedmaps, users have ease of access to dispensaries and cannabis products local to their area. The billions of dollars in product sales is enough to keep the industry afloat, though many dispensaries still face prejudice from city members and those in the surrounding community. Regardless, cannabis users acknowledge its health benefits and don’t plan on putting out their light any time soon.
